Soma Group
Group Movement Classes
This 75-minute weekly somatic practice weaves energising, expressive movement with deep restorative rest, creating a shared space to move, feel, release, and soften—gently shifting from thinking into sensing and presence. Each session begins with grounding and breath-led awareness, then moves through somatic practices designed to support and regulate the nervous system.
Open to all bodies and experience levels, with options and rest always welcome. You are invited to move in ways that feel responsive, supportive, and true to your Soma.
Welcoming prenatal clients up to 16 weeks.

FAQs
-
Somatic movement is a way of moving that focuses on exploration, connection and curiosity.
The word somatic comes from the Greek soma, meaning “the living body.”
In somatic movement, attention is placed on sensation, breath, rhythm, emotion, and nervous system responses as you move.
It can support nervous system regulation, emotional expression, and the release of held tension.
Through somatic movement, we create space to move what we feel and reconnect with ourselves in a meaningful, embodied way. -
Just bring your Soma!
Mats and small props are provided. The space includes bathrooms, drinking water, and areas to change and store your belongings.
The studio is equipped with air conditioning and heaters. However, as the nervous system shifts toward regulation, it’s common for body temperature to drop—so you may also wish to bring an extra layer that’s comfortable to move in.
